A lovely 1980's studio pottery jug.
Made by Andrew and Joanna Young in their Gresham studio pottery in Norfolk, its part of their 'Brownware Range' that have developed and made since the mid 1970's, they described the pieces as:-
" Robust pots that are mostly undecorated but have strong,
handsome shapes and are practical and homely. "
This one stands at ~23cm tall (9 inches) and has a 2 litre (3.5 pint) capacity.
On the side is impressed :

GRESHAM
NORFOLK
Its in great condition with no chips, cracks or flaws.
A great jug from ceramicists who's pieces can found in many museums and collections including the V & A London.
