A great and rare to find set of colour slides of the 1969 Apollo 11 Moon Landing.
The slide were produced by the Daily Express News paper as a give away.
The slides are in ok condition and come with the original flyer.
The slides show:
1. Aldrin climbing from the lunar module.
2. Aldrin with cameraman Armstrong reflected in his visor.
3. Aldrin with solar wind equipment.
4. Aldrin erecting the seismometer which was left behind on the moon.
5. Lunar module, seismometer and astronaut Aldrin.
6. Aldrin beside the U.S. flag.
7. Armstrong and Aldrin beside the U.S. flag-the only picture taken of the two astronauts on the moon. The picture was enlarged from a 16mm cine film, which accounts for the loss of quality.
8. Eagle photographed from Columbia as the lunar module was on the way to the rendezvous above the moon. Earth seen beyond the moon's horizon.
9. Earth pictured from Columbia at a distance of 98,000 nautical miles.
10. The Apollo 11 crew, Armstrong, Collins & Aldrin, on board the aircraft carrier Hornet after splashdown. Here they are seen through the window of the quarantine unit.
